Have you guys seen the latest Sprint / Nextel commercial where the two guys are arguing about a BLT sandwich?  These two guys are in what looks like some kind of factory where sirens are going off and one guy leans to the other and says

Guy 1: If they are going to mayonnaise on a BLT they ought to call it a MBLT. It's only right
Guy 2: In that case they should call it a BBLT because of the bread.
Guy 1: No, in the sandwich world, the bread...

Guy 1 does the walkie talkie thing into his Sprint / Nextel phone saying "Valve 347" and continues

Guy 1: ... the bread is a given.

You then see men in full protective suits rushing to turn off valve 347 and in turn stop the sirens.  It cuts back to the two men arguing and you can hear over the walkie talkie "We did it! Yahoo! ahahah".  The argument continues.

Guy 2: Mayonnaise is a condiment. Condiments don't get initials.
Guy 1 (looking both aggravated and dumbfounded): Well who made up that rule!?

The last two lines just floor me every time...
You can watch it on Sprint's website.  The commercial is sandwich one and I find it hilarious. What do you think?

I think it is a nuclear power plant.

Ben says:

You think it is nuclear or nuculear? :) I hate it when people pronounce it the funny way.

why? why is that commercial funny? maybe my brain is too complex or not complex enough to get that one. when i read the post i seriously thought you were kidding.

Did you watch it? The guys face at the end "Who made that rule!?" is hilarious! How can you not think it is funny!?

Stuart says:

Then why do you post the text if the facial expressions is the funny part? Put up a picture of the guy's face. Also your comment box is really small, and you were complaining about mine.

Whatever... now its bigger.

Brandon says:

don't ya'll live together. Why don't yall lean back, look out your door, and yell down the hallway? Seems simplier than doing it on a message board. Which by the way is nerdy. but i am a hypocrite. i should stop now.

Sharla Wright says:

Dear Brandon, Sometimes roommates do not want to have to look at each other as they already have to spend so much time together. I only wish I were so lucky as to have a message board of my own so I would not have to see my roommate in person either! Thank you. Have a good day, Sharla Wright

No wonder you have more comments on your site than me. You comment your site yourself... What a loser!

ben says:

Of course I do.... Its my site, I like to respond to what others have to say!

I am a power dispatcher for an electric utility, that is a funny spoof of a nuclear power plant. My wife saw that commercial, turned to me and said "that what you guys do at work, isn't it?". It is uncanny in its truth, dispatchers argue heatedly about the most inane and silly things while casually managing multibillion dollar power grids and protecting the lives of linemen and plant crews. A spoof, but it is close to reality too, lol.

I think the new Steak Fanatic Pizza commercial is way more funny than this nextel one.

Sharla says:

The steak fanatic pizza commercial is in no way funnier. The joke about guys having a feminine side is centuries old. It is played out. And not realistic either. How many guys do you know that watch QVC and collect "figurines"?

I have been searching trying to download this commercial, but have been unsuccessful. I think it is the funniest I have seen in a while.

Sprint/Nextel BLT/MBLT/BBLT is my favorite commercial of the year. I too am floored every time. The conversation alone is hysterical. I love this commercial!

The same guy who says "Who made up that rule?" is in a DHL commercial where a golf ball factory malfunctions and golf balls start flying everywhere. Very funny!

Bill Gibbons says:
