BenMcMath.com Comment Policy

Recently I have been receiving a lot of comment spam. What once was just a minor nuisance (1-4 a month), has now become a major headache (20-30 a day). I really enjoy being able to get feedback from readers and don't want to disable comments completely. However I must find a way for the comment spam to be handled. In order to do this, I am now requiring an email address along with each comment left. These email addresses will be evaluated and approved or disapproved. Those email addresses that are approved will be able to comment with out being moderated. The comments left by unapproved email addresses will be held in moderation. This should keep the spam off the site, and still allow friends and family to leave comments.

Of course this requires a few things from you. First you need to use the same email address each time you leave a comment. It would be easiest if you simply use your actual email address. Remember that these are not shared with anyone other than myself and I promise never to sell or reveal your email to anyone. The second thing will be that you be understanding while your first comment is held in moderation. I am constantly checking my email so it shouldn't be very long before you are approved. But until that point all your comments will be held in moderation.

Should you have any further questions feel free to contact me.
